    Soul,

Lets cut to it ... we have yet to see him play.

    SEE : Percy Harvin

When we need him ... he better be there.

A pork rind with tobassco sauce on it bro.

For a $570k cap hit Hayden was a good signing. He's an experienced vet who can play CB or NB and he even has the size and toughness to play Safety if he had to. With Tillman and Bowman still unsigned and only one starting Safety under contract this made sense.

And we have seen him play jackie. He was the starting NB in 2012 in that top 5 defense AND the guy who put the nail in our coffin in the Super Bowl with a pick six that put the game out of reach. Jackie you really need to do your homework on these guys before just popping in here with these trite comments like "when we need him he better be there". He had a pick and four fumble recoveries in 2012 and was on the Bears IR last year so he didn't just fall out of tree somewhere. He also had 11 picks (3 for TDs) in 5 years as a part time starter before he joined the Bears. He's one of the better FAs we've picked up and he's cheap. Good and cheap is what we need.

Jackie the guy does have history of injuries but when you're short on DBs and you can sign a vet for a $570k cap hit whose been an effective player WHEN healthy you do it. If we find better we release him and if he does get injured we don't lose much monetarily. They're paying him chump change and he could be the starting NB or even a FS.

that always gets me too, especially on twitter when folks are trying to save characters. I get a brief moment of panic, then a realisation of whatthey REALLY meant!

Give up twitter ... in fact give up your cell phone. Be your own MAN again.

Try living in a world where nobody knows where you are at all the time.

    Just be you.

Well that platitude ain't all it's cracked up to be I can tell you that much. Maybe you should try it yourself jackie but of course you'd have to start by getting rid of the computer you typed this on. ;)

I tried it once. It wasn't a whole lot of fun and it was so far from just being myself that even I didn't recognize me. As uncivilized as civilization can be at times it still beats not being a part of it at all.
