    After reading up on him and looking at Hokie fans talking about him, im starting to really like this pick. From what i've read:

    -Has great Football IQ, rarely makes a mental mistake.
    -Hard Hitter. Just watch the clips, he hits, and hits HARD
    -Great Tackler. Something we sorely need, he has a knack for wrapping up and completing tackles
    -Great ST guy...blocks kicks/punts, great blocker as well. Should see plenty of time on STs this year.
    -Mayock called him the most "NFL-ready CB" of the class.
    -Long arms, so has knack for reaching in to disrupt the pass.

    Downsides though:
    -Has trouble at times with man coverage
    -Strength is an issue, though probably a minor one
    -Size. Even though he has great arm length, he is still just shy of 6'0, so might have trouble down the road if tasked with covering guys like Megatron.

    That might be an issue. We tend to leave our good CB's man on man. Hopefully they will play around that. Or it's just a bogus assumption by an analyst?

    Either way, Emery is addressing our issues! I love it!

    Well from what ive seen/read i think its a speed issue, he simply is not fast enough to sprint on the outside with a fast NFL WR down the sideline, which is why in the highlight vids, most of his tackles occur over the middle or 10-20 yards deep. Hokie fans are saying that he is a beast on the inside, and great at stopping the run and getting in the backfield, but not as great on the outside man to man.

    Which is ok, since i imagine he will play in a lot of the nickel packages on the inside his first year anyway, so it should be playing to his strengths.

    In the highlights, it looks like he's using a lot of instinct jumping some of the routes. There is a lot of reading the WR and not looking at the QB.

    I just hope he doesn't get schooled by a vet WR by jumping on a route, then leaving the WR wide open deep.

    I did see a lot of man to man in his highlights, but most were short routes. I didn't see many deep coverage highlights.

    well im pretty sure that tillman and jennings will be assigned to the vet WRs, and Fuller will get the slot receivers or TEs in a nickel, but he's a rookie, im sure he will get burned once or twice this year, rookies make mistakes.

    I agree. I think he will get burned more.. Lol


    I just can't wait to see a Cb make a tackle besides Tillman and Jennings. Steltz and Conte are still trying make tackles from last season.

    Should be some great competition in camp between Fuller & Hayden for the Nickel position now. This guy has 3 CBs (PNut, Jennings & Hayden) with over 30 yrs of NFL experience to learn from.

    After researching Fuller and watching his highlights over the last few days I'm very excited about this pick.

    It really makes me wonder why there wasn't more talk about Fuller in the analysts' mocks. They kept talking about the same 10-20 guys and pretty much ignored KF.

    I'll predict Fuller will get more INTs this year than our NB last year.
