Nakoma1, by that did you mean; "...if they would stop trying to run up the gut"? I like M. Bush, but he wasn't exactly pounding it up the middle either. I think if the line starts getting the needed push Forte can make the play. Not tipping the hat with personnel is a good thing. I rather Bush be needed only as a breather, if possible.

If you were talking about the second half last week with Pitt. Yeah, I hear ya. My father, who is not a Bears fan commented on exactly that: "Why are are they running it there? I've seen the same play four times, for nothing." I understood his comment.

I'm sure there was a reason, perhaps LeBeau cracked the code for the week. Might have been the adjustment the Steelers D baited the O into. Without having broken it down, off the top of my head, the plays on offense seemed balanced. We were not protecting the lead at that time as I remember it, and the short yardage on the goal line was just as ineffective. So I'm at a loss.

Trestman doesn't seem like a coach that would miss on the significance of something like that. I remember watching some good runs up the middle the first couple weeks... Not worried about it right now Nak, but it is something to note.

Forte has never been good up the get. They need to get him outside more.

Hopefully after Suh knocks Long down he will kick him in the face and be ejected.
    You can only hope ...

How about hopefully Long dominates Suh repeatedly, and then help him up off the ground each time. That would make me happy.

Fine with me, but I would like it better if Suh got so angry that he took a swing at Long, missed, and ended up hitting a ref, getting him ejected, fined lots of money and suspended for a good long time.

Oh, and then after getting ejected, Suh angrily throws his helmet to the ground, causing it to bounce back up and hit him in the nads. That would be cool, too.
