How about showing it during game time? That's the best way to repay it.. lol

Nice, and a rare expression of gratitude toward the McCaskey's and especially George whose played no small part in this resurrection process. He's mortgaged a lot of current and future income to give Phil Emery the funds he's needed to put together a winner. I can't imagine Michael ever being that generous the :asshole:.

It really is gratifying to see the change in Marshall from the moody unpredictable player he was here in Denver to the player and the person he is now. A healthy mind and a healthy attitude can work wonders.

Damn you lb every time a page pops up with your post and I see that blond long snapper in your avatar I want to say that's OK honey. Don't bother with the shotgun snap. I'll just come over there and take it the usual way. :boobies2:

I love Brandon Marshall. I liked him for his talent when Emery got him but I like him more now for the leader he has become, how he has helped himself, and the genuine way he helps others. I'm so glad he extended him yesterday, heading into OTAs. One less thing to think about. What Marshall did to host all those revolving players for 2 weeks was awesome. Even after free agents were signing with the Bears, some headed down to Florida to join. That's crazy.

I'm not a big stats person but even this impresses me. Sick!

I can't believe he has never played in a playoff game. If anyone deserves it, it's him.

I think there's a league rule about QBs not fraternizing with their OCs in ways that could not be shown on the half time highlights. That may not make the highlights. :smilebig:

I would normally agree with that rule, but in her case I think an exception is in order.

BMarsh is rapidly becoming my favorite Bear, and he is on the list (and moving up quick) on my list of all time favorites. I just admire the hell out of where he's been and how he's overcome to not only become a solid (stay out of trouble) player, but an OUTSTANDING team leader.

I'll be honest, as the fan of a sports team, the most critical thing is winning, but there are some real dirt bags in this league that make it hard to cheer for. With guys like BMarsh, Kyle Long, Peanut Tillman and on and on, the Chicago Bears are not only easy to cheer for but they give you that little extra bit of pride in your team. These guys make more money than most people see in a lifetime, but they at least provide the outward appearance of humility.
