Apparently (according to the Score) Kyle Long is going to try to recruit his brother Chris to come to the Bears. The love and respect they have for each other, I can see Chris doing it.

Also Martellus likewise wants to play with his brother Michael and has mentioned try to recruit him to come to the Bears.

I think it would be fun if they were able to do so.

neither is a superstar, but either would provide a huge upgrade.

When you build a organization with sound fundamentals and thought it's amazing how everyone wants to start playing for you.

He should recruit Jake Long instead, and just pretend that they are brothers.

People say chemistry is important.... What's better chemistry than family bonds?

The Score sucks. Chris Long signed an extension last year, and he is under contract with the Rams through 2016. Unless Kyle was talking about recruiting Chris to play here in four years, I'm guessing the Score jumped to a conclusion or just flat-out made it up.

Rog. Kyle talked about it in an interview this week, and in an interview w/Howie he also stated Kyle had talked about it.

Wanting to/talking about it doesn't mean he's going to do it THIS year.

    That would be awesome! :)

How much do you think Chris Long would be asking to come to Chicago?

It would be nice but Chris Long would cost us a lot unless he gives "family" discount and I don't think so. I'm not sure of how good Chris Long is I've an impression of him being a really good DE. Would be nice if we can replace Peppers next season with C.Long and just having to draft DT.

Chris Long is 28 years old now. Assuming he doesn't get released early, he will be 32 years old when he becomes a free agent. We probably wouldn't want him at that point, and if we did, he'll be at the point in his career where we didn't have to roll out the red carpet and recruit him to get him here. Peppers is 33/34 this season, had a better prime than Chris, and we see where he is in his career now.

Long may be 28, but does not have a lot of mileage.

Would we even have the $$$$ for Chris Long that is the question.
