After a zillion years of marriage, I don't even try to sneak anything by the wife anymore. It's like she knows my scam before I even try to run something by her. I just flat-out ask her for this stuff now, and she rolls her eyes and usually smiles and lets me buy Bears stuff anyway. She's a good wife who knows I'm crazy about the Bears.

She even let me buy a Peppers jersey a few years ago for our cat (he watches the games with us & the kids.......I thought he ought to have a jersey like us too). He (seriously) watches the games with us like he knows what's going on.....poor guy is seriously depressed for days after a loss (grumpy and chases the poor dog). The rotten "D" line play this year, has him coughing up hair balls after games. He's just disgusted with 'em this year.

    Really, 48 - 10 ?

    Editorial Reviews
    From Barnes & Noble
The Chicago Bears have won only one Super Bowl, but their 1985 48-10 rout of the Boston Patriots was not only the cap of an almost incomparable season. The Bears finished with a 15-1 season; holding rivals to less than 200 points, while they scored more than 450.

yeah and there are numerous other typos as well, yttocs. For some reason, B & N's website is littered with them. In the product descriptions, in the book reviews, etc.

One would think someone speaking for a firm would check oneself. I know I was drunk in 86 down there but I still remembered the score. 18 and there , one of the top 5 things in life.

    1985 ?

    Boston?

The grammar is bad as well. For a bookstore, that is really sad.

Found an excerpt from the book. Sounds really good. I'm looking forward to this one.

Hit the link for more, but here's a sample...
