As most may see, I have updated the editor. While it may look a little bit more complicated, it will add a LOT more functionality.

One little thing I have noticed, in order to use the smilie categories, click the Black Smilie, vice the white one.

If you have any issues or question please post them in here. Enjoy!!

You want to enable the "code" option?

I think the new editor is preventing Greenshot from being able to paste. My Greenshot still works properly in word and excel. Just not working on this board. I get the message CNTL +V / CMD + V.

It is free to download and enables excel tables to be posted and look like the spreadsheet rather that a jumble jargon. Also allows you to copy paragraphs from articles to highlight. Nice little program in my opinion, use it at work all the time when IMing other engineers for info.

Hoping you can look into it more. I tried to use it yesterday and it was the first time it would not work at this site. Is there any setting I may have inadvertently changed or might it be related to the editor.

Ha, BSBears you just solved someone else's reported problem (I think BearInHouston) of not being able to post "tables" without the jumble. I knew the key was to save/present the info as an image (rather than text) but didn't have a "tool" ready to suggest to get the job done. Thanks.

We'll get things figured out, and by we I mean Ski-Whiz, lol. At this point he's the only one who can retrace his steps to see where the issue lies. Or there may be a need for a "patch", in which case he's the one to do that also.

I think I have the new editor pasting tables correctly.

The ONLY issue is using your mouse (Right Clicking then PASTE). you will need to use your keyboard (CTRL-V) to paste it. It's how the browser and OS work together. So using the keyboard is how to past.

It worked above, still would appreciate Greenshot working. If you get a chance do the free download and try it, using cntl v does not work with greenshot.

    Thanks

yeah, I will check out greenshot. I normally use the window's screen clipper program that comes with windows.

I'll check out greenshot though and get back to you.
