Kane keeps playing like a boss.
Crawford's problem (in fans eyes) is he makes amazing stops, but he lets easy goals pass through. That is why he has a lot of people who dislike him.
Personally, I love the dude. He is a rockstar!
Or when we do have a guy in front, he's not clearing the guy out, he's acting as an additional screen.
That is what I have noticed a lot in this series.
Hawks rarely set up camp in front of Quick. But when they do, there is always a Kings player doing what they can to get him out of Quick's line of site.
However, when there is a King in front of Crawford (usually every time the puck is in the Hawks zone), the Hawks tend to ignore him.
Actually Andrew Shaw and Bickel have set up camp at times but the Kings have been real aggressive on D. They check a lot where the Hawks like to skate circles around players. Andrew Shaw was fighting off a defender when Kane scored the game winner.
That's what I saw too. He was staying clear until he got nudged into him from behind. I didn't much care for that hook one of the Kings put in Kane after his first goal either. They need to protect him in this last game because the Kings are gonna be out to take him out of the game anyway they can. It's the final battle of the war.
yeah that one dude hooked Kane after the goal pretty bad. I almost thought he was trying to give him his stick it was so damn long.
I want to see more of this in game 7
I want game 7 to end this way
Awesome HIT !!!!!!!!!
Need more of em .
Let's go Hawks! I guess it was too much to hope for a run away game 7. This has been an epic series.
Need to make good on this 2 man advantage
Win the third and we're in.
Overtime. Of course. Couldn't be otherwise.
Goddamn Kings were offsides on the tying score!!!!
My comments are only appropriate for the Bar Scene. lol Well fought Blackhawks, way to come back and force Game 7.
How many one goal leads have we seen blown due to a 10 min turtle. The Hawks are a puck possession team and don't have the goalie or the sustained defensive ability to play that way. Consistently giving up the puck and trying to play defense costed them 6 3rd period leads this post season.
I'm not afraid to say it, its a coaching problem. I have never bought into Q's worship in Chicago.
Q is a fantastic coach, I hope he is here for a long time
Still a great season. I just wish the refs would call more penalties against the kings for all of the grabbing, hands to the face, pulling off the goalies mask bs that kept happening. The worst part was listening to the assholes announce the game and keep calling everything clean. Either way the kings did what they had to do to beat the Hawks and I am sad but the season will start again soon and I will be happy again.
I don't know which was worse the announcing or the officiating. It was't just the tying goal that was offside, both Kings goals #2 and #4 were offside. Had the Hawks knocked the high stick goal in, does anybody think it would have been confirmed in Toronto or would it have been disallowed?
Tough to beat a good team that gets away with murder AND the refs AND toronto.
