After signing Decker, Vick and possibly DeSean Jackson, they are potentially a tight end, free safety and another cornerback from having at least the quality of players that are in discussion for deep playoff runs.

Anyone else follow the Jets? I honestly could see them making the playoffs if they improve the interior offensive line, a tight end or two and several spots in the secondary. Hell, if any of those picks would be a home run (Their one-year GM has many similarities to Emery, in that he spent 2 #1s on controversial picks* and turned out to be the right choice) like many of their previous defensive draft picks, I honestly see them as having the talent of being one of the 5 best teams.

Except Vick sucks and is always inj'd, even moreso then Cutler. Jets are doomed to fail b/c their management are a fail.

Yeah...you haven't been keeping up with them, apparently. The idiot that gave Sanchez the big extension is gone, he's already have several home runs, and he helped build the Seattle Seahawks SB champion roster. They have a legit front office, somewhere in the Emery level.

Vick doesn't suck, he's always injured. No one really expects past glory out of him(the 1 year, $5 million contract testifies to this account), but he still has the talent left. Also, the Eagles line was garbage up until last year.

Also, considering they have the best defensive line in the NFL, they will be able to keep things significantly more favorable for the offense.

Vick the last three years has almost a 1 for 1 TD to TO ratio and his passing % has gone from sub 60% to sub 55% in that same time. This is NOT the Vick from 10 years ago, THIS Vick sucks. And the Jets will suck b/c of it.

I understand what you're saying, but if he sucks, they're absolutely going to Geno. Honestly, many Jets fans (myself included) think he's the best QB to go against Geno, because if he goes down to injury like usual of late, Geno will come in when the offense has had time to gel.

I honestly didn't understand the signing, I would have gone w/Geno and built a team around him(OL, RR, WR's,TE) etc.

This is Geno's team now and Vick was brought in as insurance. They're already building everything around Geno; RB Chris Ivory isn't bad at all, they signed Decker and probably will go after DeSean Jackson. Now they just need to address the OL in the draft and their offense is ready to go.

Chris Ivory isn't all that good either. Pretty easy being a RB in NO's when the other team is expecting Brees to throw 40 time a game. He's not Pierre Thomas by any means.
