This is another big test for the offensive line. The rookies in particular are getting a "baptism by fire" in these first two weeks of the season. It's good that Bushrod has 6 games of experience against Jared Allen. And I'm hoping Garza has another good game. He looked decent against the Bengals, and he & Bushrod, can help the rookies prepare for the Vikes.

G2G soon, so throwing random stuff out:

Brian Robinson has had 8 sacks the last 2 years, Jared Allen has had 24, Guion 2 and Kevin Williams 7.

Kevin Williams will be returning from a knee injury, and Floyd, in his place did nothing last week. In fact, the entire defensive line didn't have a sack.

It is interesting tho, the defensive line had multiple tipped passes, so Cutty needs to be prepared for that.

If I were the Vikings DC, I'd stack Allen up against Mills, and force double teams, although that would make it easier for Cutler to notice the rush...

Week 9 is a test. We play our first game against the Packers.

Every game's a test ,... from one level to the next even when yer on top they keep testing you to see if you still deserve to be there.
....just gotta keep getting those perfect scores or near perfect scores mixed with an occasional one or two barely passing scores ,.... to keep it honest ,..to remind you,... to test you if you really want to be there

The Bengals were predicted by many (myself included) to be one of the toughest games we'll play all year. AP is the best RB in the league, so they do deserve respect. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, looks to be a team that's entering "disaster mode".

If we stop AD (that's the nickname he likes), absolutely. The Steelers already had a bad offensive line, and now they lost their center for the year.

I agree. Every game is a "test" and it's a healthy attitude to believe you have to bring your "A Game" every week. The final exam is the Super Bowl. That's the ultimate test that we want to take - and pass.
