Kind of refreshing to see Cutler getting time to throw isn't it. Man if those two can lock down that right side the rebuilding of the line is happening almost overnight. Still, this is Oakland and last week the Chargers so they're still playing 2nd division units but the arrow is pointing up. Kromer is doing a nice job with this bunch. No holds and only one false start!

It sure is a wonderful thing to see, very refreshing compared to the constant 3 and outs we used to see with sacks coming in between etc.....2 more weeks for the home opener.

While the right side of the line has been playing excellent so far I hope it can continue into the regular season. But I do agree it is great to see Cutler not running for dear life anymore.

take this as you will, but Kyle Long is playing the best highest graded guard thus far:

Yeah, Mills and Long have been really impressive Run Blocking. Of course, they still havent been truly tested yet, so it will be interesting to see if they can maintain that level for the run, and work on their pass blocking.

Not to throw dirt on Carimi's corpse or anything, but I'm pretty sure Mills is, at a minimum, better than Carimi was last year. Things might not be great, but barring injury, it'll always be manageable. Plus you've got to consider Tice was one of the worst OC's in the NFL of recent memory, so addition by subtraction (Tice, Carimi), plus by addition (Mills, Long, Kromer) will at least let Cutty get the ball out better than he did last year.
