We have been ineffective all year running up the middle. I have not been able to put my finger on why so far this year. After seeing Garza get burned on the 2pt conversion play, I am wondering if he is part of the problem.

I have been glad to see T-man moving the running plays outside. But we need to be able to open a lane for our RB's and control a 3rd and 1 situation. It's obvious that we need to address the defense next year, but somehow we need to fix this situation.

    What run game.

I'm with you, can't tell what the problem is. Is it size?

I'm not a fan of Garza. He's been average in my eyes.

We need to get some players on the sled..

I don't think it is the running backs fault, because I don't see the line opening up the lanes. Even on the sweeps and pitches, Matt is running for his life around the defense. I don't know what the plan is for Bush, we don't use him much relative to what we are paying him.

Seems to me like Forte has very bad vision. I see him make cuts that are either unnecessary or the wrong way. Today he had a nice hole to the left so he ran right and got piled up. Also wouldn't mind seeing more of Bush.

Maybe one day we'll be able to run block and pass block well in the same game. Its either one of the other and I've noticed it for years.

If your ass is down by two to win a game ...

you line up with Forte, Ford, and Bush.

All the fuuck you needed was two points.

I don't know if they are spending too much time practicing pass blocking or what. We should start an internet drive to purchase a blocking sled for Halas Hall. If that doesn't work, we can get Forte checked for glasses. Seriously we need them to focus on this in the off season. There isn't much they are going to do about it this season.

Garza isn't really good. Forte is great all around, but not as run it up the middle style. He blocks well, catches well and his yards come on the outside.

I'd love to see some formations with Forte and Bush on the field. This would help us big time to get more yards on the ground.
