Even if it was them, they wouldve lost either way.
It didn't seem to affect Hester. Not at first anyway.
Unless maybe it wore off after the first return?
The Bears lost the Super Bowl because of heavy rain, terrible field conditions, horrible snaps and moves by the oline and Sexy Rexy's inacurracy.
Even IF a couple of players were smokin weed before the big game, I don't think we would have won it anyway.
Or maybe it's just Ayanbandejo making things up. You know he much he loves to have the media's attention.
It was all fun & games until Sexy Rexy fumbled the joint and burnt the mattress...
I just felt like we were pretenders in '06. How we ever managed to get to the Super Bowl that year I'll never know.
Third best defense in the league. That's how. ;-)
It wasn't a great team IMHO. We were exposed in the Super Bowl. I was embarrassed by how we looked in that game.
Very easy Schedule. iirc, only 3 teams we played that year finished above .500, and we lost to two of them.
No Brown or Harris is what did 'em in.
Nah, our bend-not-break defense, missing 2 of the best players this team has had since the 80's held Manning to 22 points, whiile our offense got 17 despite Grossman being the last half of "Flowers for Algernon" in the game. Griese woudlve have carried us to the Lombardi
Lovie not listening to Rivera about scheme changing is what blew it!
In a story about weed, that comes up after a flurry of stories about legalizing/destigmatizing weed, that mentions that one of his two superbowl teams had folks smoking.....wouldn't it make more sense to think he was talking about the Ravens? Think about it, if the point is to say weed isn't that bad, wouldn't you point to the team that won the game?
