Now that we have that 1st game of the Emery/Trestman era under our belt, I figure we should get everyone on record for predicting how many Super Bowl victories we will have during their tenure here in Chicago. Please note, that this is NOT counting Super Bowl appearances - but rather SB wins. We need to be selective here.

DaGM and DAnewcoach Trestiman will go on a decade long history making 10 SB win streak.

    Options should've been 1, 2, 3 or 4. Let's not exaggerate here. ^^

1-3 wins would be huge imo. Bellichick won three SBs with New England and he's definitely the best coach in the league. If Trestman can do the same with our team, I'll be more than happy.

Besides, it would be the first time ever I see a Bears team win a SB. lol

    Wouldn't even hazard a guess...

We had a window back then when this D was young, hung, & hungry but Mikey/JA/LS slammed that one shut with their 'sit on our hands' policy. Still one who believes Ds are the way to being the last man standing.

Have to wait on what the next Emery/Trestman gen brings.

We are ONE game into the season. I'd like to say we get at least one championship in the Emery/Trestman era but lets dilute that kool-aid just a bit...

I tried to be conservative here. I figure most folks won't remember who Belichick was, by the time the Emery/Trestman era ends.

I figure a future poll we ought to run (later in the season), is: "Do you think that anyone will remember that Green Bay once had a professional football league franchise at one time - after the Emery/Trestman era is over?"

I'm thinking there MAY be a few old-timers who will remember they had some success "back in the day" but may not remember that they actually were rather competitive with the Bears at one time - prior to Emery and Trestman arriving in Chicago.

JABF99 ... you made me change my avatar.

We might win one in the next year or two, but after that it depends of Emery's drafting to rebuild the D.

Ric, I absolutely love the new commercial with the Bears fans "upgraded to grilling class" on the plane.

I notice that two people have voted "More than 10 Super Bowl wins"....... I do think that may be a BIT over-the-top. Emery is in his late '50's now, so to get in that 10 to 20 Super Bowl win category, I think that is a long-shot. Not sayin' it can't happen, guys. I just want to "keep it real" here.

    This is a "serious" thread.

If this were a serious thread, shouldn't 0 be an option? I mean, Andy Reid went to 4 straight NFC Championship games (5 total) and lost in the SB, and he def. has more credentials than Trestman.

I didn't think anyone would take the thread seriously if I put in zero super bowl wins Henry. I almost didn't put in the 1-3 option, thinking NOBODY would vote that low, except maybe if they were figuring 3 SB wins in the first 3 seasons. But "keeping it real" here, I figured we shouldn't expect to win the SB every year. I mean, that's definitely drinking the kool aid.

I rooted so hard for Ried in that SB, Always liked his O back in the early 2000's and how he used the RB.

Figure at most, Trestman coaches 30 years. At VERY MOST. To get 10 he would have to set a record pace which would be better than everyone but Lombardi.

1-3 is the most realistic option that was posted.

But, we've only won one game. I mean, for example, Nak asked "what is your gut feeling?", and while we viewed that as "looking too far ahead"(and he was only going a few games into the future), talk of a dynasty is WAY too premature. This thread has "DAAAAAAAA BEAAAAAAARS" writen all over it

If things worked out as planned.... ONE. And even that would require for some other damn fine teams to have full-on melt downs.
