Just type it out... example below. REMOVE ALL THE SPACES to form the word spoiler (start) or /spoiler (end) without any spaces between the characters and the brackets:

    [ s p o i l e r]insert your image here[ / s p o i l e r ]

If I wanted to enter 2.bp.blogspot.com/_XCCzcMw9CYM/TSpuUxeQWcI/AAAAAAAALi8/m__5xOKFUnU/s400/Its_My_List.jpg in a spoiler, it would be

    [ s p o i l e r]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_XCCzcMw9CYM/TSpuUxeQWcI/AAAAAAAALi8/m__5xOKFUnU/s400/Its_My_List.jpg[ / s p o i l e r ]

... with all the spaces removed.

Fun fact, you can use the Code button, then HTML option in the drop down menu to insert BBcode, like so:

    HTML:
    [spoiler]Loki is stoopid[/spoiler]
(or, just wrap HTML BBcode around it)

Or just learn the codes. How hard can it be?

Yeah, that 502 error was a server issue. I'm told the server was missing a log file.

When I was backing up the site, I also killed the old DBS site/files. So I thought I "pushed another button".. lol Ended up not being me that caused it.

I was VERY sure I killed the correct database. I killed the old vbulletin DBS files a while ago (I have them backed up here).

I'm focusing on this place more. I'm getting ready to explore more ways to make this place just a message board. Tweaks coming soon. :D

Twice this week I have clicked on threads in the Chicago Bears forum and have been redirected to other sites. I don't know if this is a bug or some sort of hack. I don't have a problem on any other site.

OK, thanks guys, I'm sure there is an element on the server side that is the root cause. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience.

I hate to say that it's impossible that you are getting Ads, but I have the code turned on for only unregistered guests. Once you log in, you will not get them.
I verified this with our test account. I also verified your account, and you have the same exact permissions as our test account "Urlach54".

I think what might be happening is that you choose not to have the site keep you logged in. So when that happens and you hit refresh, you will get ads, and have to log in again.

If you could show me a screenshot of what your seeing that would help, but I've tested the ad code, and checked it in the style. I just can't find anything. Sorry.

Is it the same thread, or same forum?

Is it directing you to the same site? What is the site it's sending you to?

I would say it's possibly an Ad, but when you are logged in, you don't see them.

Well, when it happened to me it sent me to another site. I was able to simply hit the back button and come back here, so it didn't seem like the typical hijack. I didn't think anything of it because it was so easy to correct. It happened again once, same situation. Don't recall the site it sent me to, sorry.

I will look into this through your account. It kinda looks like you have something running on your machine or browser that is putting ads up.

I may PM you and ask permission to log into your account to see if I get them when I log in as you.

thanks for the screenshot. It helps me look in more places, but I know I didn't put anything in there.

Is there anyone else that see's those ads?

The ads in that screenshot are a different problem than the re-directs. So looks like two things are going on here.

I am getting errors due to redirections as well. It started just a few days ago.

At home my anti-virus software (Avast) is blocking access to a URL (not a host name but a straight IP address) and at work I get a 403 from our internal proxy/firewall.

At work at the moment and will re-post here when I go home tonight and will pull the IP address of the malware host out of my AV logs.

Great ... I got back in time to edit my post :36_1_11[1]:

Here is the address from my 403 error on the corporate firewall/proxy ...

Yep, that is what happened to me too. So that makes 3 AFF's as the redirect site.

I'm on it. I'm thinking something I installed may have some bullshit back door?

Either that, or the site was hacked and has some code that is making someone money?

Right now, I'm downloading all the files.

Then I'm going to re-upload all the files from the original sources. So the site will have some brief outages.

Thanks for the info. I'm on it. :D
