Nice to see the Bears in the top 5, i know the rankings are mostly opinion but I truly believe if Trestman keeps doing what he's doing with the offense (game planning etc.) and the defense continues to keep doing what they're doing getting the take aways this Bears will be the team to watch when the playoff spots start going up for grabs.
Let's put it this way. It's a reflection on the fact that we're doing some good stuff as a team. It's something positive. Regardless of how this season goes from here, I figure it's good to "stop and smell the roses" and enjoy the wins. All too soon it's the dreaded off-season that lasts forever.
If the sports media wants to give us some love along the way, hey, that's cool too.
Why anyone would rank the Seahawks over the Broncos is beyond me.
Peyton Manning is a QB machine. A lot of people said he shouldn't have tried to come back after the neck surgery. But the guy is playing on another level than any QB in the NFL. Pretty good for a 37 year old player.
stick yer finger in the scoket already GET JUICED ! ! ! :P
Yeah, Seahawks have the top defense in the league, no one is arguing that. But look at their schedule: they BARELY beat the Panthers, 12-7. Yes, they demolished the 9ers, and that is why people are all high on the hawks now, and this week they demolished the worst team in the league. But, this week they will face off against a 2-1 Texans team that has the SECOND best D in the league.
Now look at the Broncos: yeah, their schedule thus far is about the same, but look at how they won: scored 49, 41, and 37 points? Most of them being Manning TD passes? Insane. If the SB was Broncos-Seahawks, id take Manning in a heart beat to win.
Where is the Packers? lol
The Bengals sent 'em packing :-)
