    I've read many of his books so I'm gonna miss him . One of the best authors of all time .

    He just finished a book that will be out in December, so he can't have been sick for very long if he was. All I've seen so far is that he died at a hospital near his home in Maryland.

    I was a big fan of his for a for long time...his early books were fantastic...he lost me shortly after making Ryan President (kinda jumped the shark at that point imo)...last book I read was Rainbow Six, which I liked quite a bit...

    Being the owner of the Vikings would be lugubrious for anyone; to die while being their owner would be an unnecessary stain on the legacy of this great writer.
