You know the drill
Defense is the only acceptable answer.
The worst defensive display since the 1991 regular season finale.
Stick a fork in em. Dey done.
Terrible. Lots of injuries granted, but even backups should know how to keep contain and chase down a one legged QB. And how about covering the tight end once or twice?
Defense, and Jay Cutler. Not really a surprise, at this point, that Jay can't figure out a defense early.
Jay gets the 2nd choice, but the D is the answer in today's game. Jays inept play early on left the D gassed, and inj's to the D play caller and the best DB on the field were both hurt...it was just to much to overcome to an already depleted D.
this is bottom, but i think well see a few of more games like this, regarding our D, its just plain bad, and i really had faith in them today, because redskins are bad, real bad
Yeah, and he shouldn't have bounced that ball off of Jeffery's hands, either.
No, the only rational answer other than the defense was Trestman with the playcalling. ONCE AGAIN, just a horrible gameplan of not really trying to run, bad and predictable passing plays. The difference between the two halfs was not McCown, it was Trestman removing his head from his ass.
added the other choice so you can add in the other vote
You could have voted for both :D
Give it to Conte. He is absolutely killing us.
No. I'm not buying "AJ dropped a pass" as an excuse for Jay Cutler. He consistently burns timeouts, avoids the dumpoff, and makes a BAD pass or two each game, that he certainly deserves blame here. How many games are we going to have to watch him get his **** together in the 4th quarter, to even make it a game? He played like this against the Lions and Saints, and we got the same result. I'm not saying we replace him, but jesus christ, he's not gotten any better in the first 3 quarters this year, than he did last year. This is the type of crap he pulled under Tice, and we blamed Tice for EVERYTHING. We're now seeing the flaws in Jay's game, that keeps him from being in the "elite" category.
If they had won McCown should have won the game ball. He actually didn't play bad.
Okay, then Josh McCown is clearly better at reading the defense and it's Jay's fault that we didn't run the ball at all to start out. When the hell have you ever seen a team lose its starting QB and then OPEN-UP its playbook? Where the hell was the offensive strategy the first half?
Trust me, I understand where you're coming from, but even under Tice, Jay somehow "magically" got his **** together in the 4th quarter, game in, game out. What I'm saying is, we've seen these same bad habits out of Jay Cutler, enough times, under different coordinators, to see that a lot of the blame goes with him, for slow starts on offense.
17 allowed 1st half 21 in 2nd half. Hmmm let me think....
What's it take to get Mel's name up there in lights? ;)
You score 41 Points and you lose. It's all on the defense.
He is listed as other.
Bad scheme? Maybe.... but I think the lack of healthy players is more to blame than a bad scheme. Sooner or later, you have to put the blame on the players. Bad scheme or not, they need to get the damn job done. They have sucked for the most part of the year, failing to cover properly, and failing to tackle properly.
Do not worry. We will draft a QB next year.
