Stopped reading after a passing grade for Cutler, 4 TO's that turned into 10-17 points for the Lions is not c+ and 2 td's in garbage time when the game was over don't make up for it, 16-40 in the 4th qtr w/Cutler having 0 TD's and 4 turn overs. That's F material, wanna throw a D- b/c he didn't give up and threw a few TD's while Det played victory formation D, meh fine. But sure to hell not C or better.

A C+ for the pass offense is a bit high. I would grade it D-.

I have to agree with Ric and Dynamite on this one. The other grades are non-controversial. I might quibble a little here or there but nothing major. But grading the pass O as a "C+" is a total farce. Whoever wrote that must have looked at the final stat line which was deceiving because it was loaded with garbage yards, garbage recs, and 2 meaningless pass TDs.

I'd give it a "D-" and the vast majority of that was on Cutler. But I'm glad Mr. 4th Quarter was able to pad his late game stats after he had already mind-fucked himself out of any chance to win.

I dont think he was trying to "pad his stats," he (and the team) were seriously going to fight to the end, if it was just stat-padding, then they never wouldve gone for 2 point conversions. they were trying to pull off a miracle, and came close. Yes, Cutler's INTs, and our inability to get first downs or convert 3rd downs killed us, but at least give them credit for fighting until the end. That says more about this team than any of their screwups before hand.

When a team is in prevent defense and has turned off the heat...it can look tot he other team's fanbase that there is 'fight left in them' when there really wasn't. DET toyed with the Bears in that 2nd quarter. Not smart on their part, but they turned the heat off long in advance of what we thought was a 'Bears rally.'
