Ya, Houston and Young late 20's, and now got Ego who's low 20's. That's solid.

A bit of a surprise but a versatile, power DT with tons of upside. Time for our new DL coach to earn his pay.

I'm not surprised by this one. This guy is in the mold of Hagemen/Tuitt, big, heavy and a ton of raw talent w/versatility.

Is "inconsistent" basically code for "possibly lacks heart/dedication?" Just curious, because usually that is a red flag. What is the 411 on this kid's character? Does anyone know? Is he the type of kid who our coaches are going to have to kick in the ass to motivate, or is he more of a self-starter?! Anyone know? What did Mel Kiper think of the pick? Did he like it or did he think we should have gone in a different direction on the 2nd round? I am at work, so I couldn't watch our selection on tv. Thanks!

Emery stickin with DEFENSE ... top 2 issues have been addressed in the first two rounds.

Read that article about amount of playing time Safetys are on the field.

That's what I was thinking. I hope we have the coaching in place to get the most out of these guys. You can pick a guy oozing with potential but if you don't have the coaches in place to get that potential out of him he just turns into a pool jumper. I'm excited about the first two picks, is it the third round yet??

He is going to probably play NT and he can handle double teams like a champ, and is a stud run stuffer. He's got a TON of potential, very raw and I believe his old coach is now on the Bears staff, it makes a ton of since

SJB just went to the 'Aints.

670 former scouting guy said he doesn't get a lot of sacks, but a ton of pressures and hurries and good run stopper, and had a low 2nd round grade on him. He's got some learnin' to do though, pretty raw
