This was from last year. There's got to be a recent meme or an animated gif because during the game, they showed him on the sideline and he was a complete bobblehead.

In fairness to Cutty, he does have diabetes and that does cause involuntary muscle spasms and often show up as nervous tics.

I did not hear Cutler's comments about it being more than a high ankle sprain or the one you are referencing. But, I will take you at your word that he did indeed say that. If he does not play against Dallas though, his season is likely over

Whatever happens, i trust Emery. Going to be a difficult decision with this years crop of QBs coming in. If it were me, i would FT Cutler, re-sign McCown, and push drafting a QB until next year (2015 draft). Emery needs to focus on defense this year in the draft, but by retaining Cutler and McCown, at least we have known quantities at the QB position, and another year to work in trestmans system with Marsh, AJ, TBU and Forte, so our offense could be even better next year. Defense > QB, as far as this offseason goes.

I don't know Jimmors. I don't really follow college football, but I hear this years class of QBs is pretty deep. Any idea what next year's crop of QBs looks like?

Everything I keep reading is that this is a horrible year to draft secondary, but a great one for quarterbacks. We might just have to settle for a stop gap until next year. That's if the scouts are correct in their assessments.

So as for some of the speculative reports that have circulated indicating Cutler could be lost for the season?

“Zero chance of that,” Cutler said.

The target date for a return: Dec. 9. That’s the night the Bears host the Cowboys on “Monday Night Football.”

I have to agree with the Jimmors on this one. My heart is just not in it, not used to seeing the D emasculated like that it just can't be fixed overnight even with a decent O.

Its hard to predict with kids going into the draft at different years. Used to be you just looked at Senior classes, but once Juniors started getting Heismans consistently, then they went to the draft, now you got Sophomores. Also, College is a different animal, you have a lot of Spread Option offenses, and QBs like your Cam Newtons and RGIIIs, many of which do not translate to the pro level. I even remember Kyle Long saying after training camp that it took some time getting used to the QB under center, since at Oregon they ran the Spread Option out of the Shotgun all the time.

Still, just because this class may have more QBs available, its not as if none will be available next year. Maybe we get lucky and get the rapist Jameis Winston to declare next season and draft him :)

The pic on the link shows he is growing a neckbeard. That should help his recovery (and also endow him with superhuman powers).

Sounds like unless the floor falls out, he will be back in at most two weeks. As much as I think McCown has done a great job, I am looking forward to having our starter back and being able to continue to see him grow (I hope).

I do want to remind everyone for the millionth time of the teams ahead of us that will undoubtedly need a QB (and really, why I can't disagree with Jimmors too much on holding off): Titans, Browns, Jaguars, Cardinals, Texans, Raiders and Buccaneers. We need to keep Cutler and McCown, and hope a good talent falls a bit.

That right there is the plan. And if the D was not so horrendous, I would have said to take a QB for sure. Now, I think we have to see if a good value falls to us. However, it depends what we get in FA, and Emery usually pulls a rabbit or two out of his hat there.

yeah, he has to be about out of ligaments in the groin area to pull. Unless of course he has extra groin ligaments, which may be why
Cavallaro is so willing to overlook his pp (patented pout)
