First just want to say hope it is an entertaining injury free game and look forward to it.

Second I have the Bears D in my dynasty fantasy football so most sundays I cheer for yall, but I'll take the hit in fantasy points this week ;)

So I am really nervous playing your D in soldier field, our offense slows down a little on the road out of the dome. Maybe I am still having 2006 flashbacks

I fully expect it to be a dogfight to the end and for Forte to break a buck fifty

With that said good luck gentlemen and thanks for having me in your forum

    Geaux Saints!

    welcome to the board!

Feel free to stick around throughout the week, and after the game (win or lose). We all love talking football, and welcome non-Bears fans!

I think the key for us will be ability to try to limit Forte. If he runs all over us it could be a long day and if you watch us we struggle defending the run. Our best chance is try to get yall involved in a shootout and abandon the run

Melton's injury is unfortunate but I think you are solid in secondary. I think it will be key on how your linebackers cover up the middle. You can't let Sproles and Graham beat you

    Your thoughts?

We also have some very underrated pass rushers, Gallete and Jordan against your O line will be interesting. You are welcome for Kromer by the way. O line genius.

    Welcome to the board.

Regarding Kromer, he's worked miracles with our Oline. Unfortunately, we need a miracle with our Dline now :(

Bush tore us a new hole. I have nightmares about what Sproles would do with holes like that.

You don't have to worry about meeting our defense. So far they havn't shown up in a game yet. I do however hope they'll show up on Sunday! Brees should feel pretty safe in the pocket. But if the 2012 D shows up he might have to be a little more careful.

Peppers, Wotton, Paea, Shea where have you all gone? :( Please come back your replicates are useless.

    Now that's odd...

We're nervous about you playing our D also.

Exactly!! Jimmy Graham is a monster. Darren Sproles is like a turbocharged smurf. That dude's legs move so fast they are literally a blur!!

Like everyone said...our D is not as good as last year. Sure, they are great at generating takeaways (and scoring from them), but outside that, they've been playing terribad and inconsistent. The first two games, we held the RBs in check, but got torched through the air, so we kind of figured this was our Defense, and expected to get torched again by Megatron, while holding Bush in check. Alas...the exact opposite was true...we held Megatron in check, and Reggie Bush just ran all over us.

Its difficult to predict what exactly will happen...maybe our coaching staff will have made some adjustments, and they perform better this week. But, we are not very hopeful, since Brees is your QB. Should be a good game, and since your defense is nowhere near as good as the Lions, and it is on our Home field, it will be a great game to watch, probably very high scoring on both ends.

Simply put, if we don't get pressure on Brees, he will pick our secondary apart. No secondary can cover WR's for 5 seconds. Unfortunately, that seems to be the amount of time we give QB's.

I think our secondary's strength is matched up on the Saint's receiving core's weakness. It's has been quite Breezy so far and the Saints have managed very well. I'm going to invest in Graham crackers this week because smores completions will be made Sunday! mmmm, Toasty! Hoping not to get too burned.

Sproles is something to key on, but Jimmy has a chance to blow the doors off. This week the Monster of the Midway needs to return. Staley, I am afraid, is just not intimidating enough...

    Welcome aboard Big Breezy !
Yeah this is going to go down to the wire.
BEARS fans at home expect lots of running but if Brees starts out smokin the secondary,
look for that to disappear and instead an airball shootout.

He'll bring along his pixie dust too. One sprinkle on each offensive linemen turns them magically to crap. Right before your very eyes too.
