Oh, sardonic. Good word. The point was just to celebrate the awesomeness of Shea McClellan on a night where his direct accomplishments (3 sacks) and indirect accomplishments (knocking out Rodgers) lead the Bears to a victory over the Packers.

From the Bigg's 10 thoughts article:

Hall of Famer Dan Hampton is the only other Bear to ever have three sacks against the Packers.

That should answer the question right there. And Shea did it in one game.

I agree, karma is more of the direction I was looking at here. Bears are on the way of restoring dominance once Emery moved in with Trestman take over and that's when the Lake Michigan parted and change came to Chi-town. If anyone listen after the game to what Steve Young said it was spot on. It went something like Green Bay is in trouble not just for this game but for the coming years facing the Bears, because this Bears team now has a legitimate offensive minded leader that never existed before and will now have to be reckoned with. This gentlemen is the future of the Bears, we are the Tom Landry Dallas of creativity and officially big boy offense that doesn't ever have to hear those fck'n words "we get off the bus running" anymore. But instead we do what it takes to win the mother f'n game.

That was indeed high praise from a guy like Steve Young, and the entire crew on the set were shaking thier heads in agreement.

    If we can just
do two things, we will be an elite team
    1) Get our D somewhere near where it used to be
    2) let the O gel for a few more years with the same QB and system

If McC doesn't fade out the rest of the season and keep up the signs of life he could be kept. At least now he could be at the very least trade bait.

Maybe the kid is a late bloomer it is only his 2nd season maybe he could still end up being a pseudo clay matthews.
