I don't know. Maybe somebody else here knows more about him. It looks like we don't have much talent anywhere on the defensive line - not even with our starters. By the time you get to the backups on the roster, they must be guys with very little talent. I've never heard of most of them. Guys who probably won't be in the NFL very long at all (like by the end of this year). Emery needs to go out in the draft and FA in the next off-season, and get a truckload of DLmen and flush the guys we have down the toilet.

You know what is really depressing, is that we've spent a lot of draft picks (and picked up a number of FA's) in recent years for the DLine and safeties. A ton. Yet both positions are pure crap right now.

    How is that possible?

Something here doesn't smell right with cornwash. We are not privy to the practices and what is happening in the inner workings. BUT, he must not obviously showing the coaches Mel or hc any reason to play during practice, possibly his work ethic. You know if someone is busting their ass and especially this coaching staff, I can't see them having it in for cornwash if he's doing his part. That's why I say something doesn't smell right from cornwash's side of situation.

lol. you can't make this s*** up. Guy has his BEST GAME EVER....and then promptly tweaks his hammy in a freakin' practice drill 3 days later.:confused::confused:

Some horrible, chunky, flannel-wearing, female cheesehead was probably poking pins in a Shea McClellin vodoo doll all week. :(

It should've been obvious that Washington wasn't ready to go, when Wooton was moved to DT, and Bass came in as the backup to McClellin. Guy just doesn't have it all right now. Not that anyone should give a *****, because Emery hit 5 for 5 on the picks leading up to him (even though the rookie LB's and CB aren't playing lights out, imagine where we'd be without them).

I ain't buying it. What is obvious is that CornWash has been listed as back-up to McClellin on the depth chart all season. Yet now they are pulling a guy off the practice team to play ahead of CornWash in the biggest game of the year. Why? I believe the coaches have some grievance against him that tbey aren't telling us. I don't understand why nobody asked Trestman about it in his last dumb-ass interview.

Maybe.. just maybe... CornWash has all the talent in the world... but he is a lazy SOB in practice.

Seriously, the guy is a 6th round pick, so if he doesn't pan out in his first year, or at all, why are you going to be surprised? Angelo drafted a DE in the 2nd that never saw the field, and the defense was better for it.

I did not say I would be surprised. I said i don't understand the sequence of events since mcClellin's injury this week, and neither you nor Trestman has explained why suddenly a guy who LOST to CornWash at the end of preseason for 53-man roster spot is now suddenly elevated above him for no apparent reason. I don't know whether CornWash is even practicing with the team. He made a trip to Atlanta.
