Going after the knees...
I really really hate this guy.
Goddamnit Loki, he's just misunderstood! Haven't you figured this out yet? In reality, he's a saint. He shits kittens and pisses daisies!
He's missed something, that's for sure. I'm thinking parents.
But Suh called a team meeting to tell players to play smarter....
I Hate this dirty player
Karma will catch up to him.
"I wasn't by any means going for his knees," Suh said after Detroit's 34-24 victory.
I respect the Packers, I respect the Vikings, but I have no respect for the Lions. I don't normally wish for a player to be injured, but I REALLY hope offensive linemen start chop blocking his dumbass. He's as big of a scumbag as Haynesworth, in my book.
EDIT: On November 29, the NFL suspended Suh for two games without pay. In announcing the decision, Roger Goodell noted that it was the fifth time Suh had been disciplined for on-field conduct.
The following Thanksgiving, on November 22, 2012, Suh was involved in a play in which he kicked Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin. The incident resulted in a $30,000 fine from the league, nearly double the mandated fine for a second offense of "striking/kicking/kneeing" an opponent.
IMO, a 4 game suspension should be the minimum.
Read the comments by the Lions fans on the b/r article about it.
They are all crying that Suh shouldn't be fined/suspended because Clay Matthews won't be for his cheap shot on Kaepernick. And Suh is just excitable.
I agree with Bearstuff. If Suh keeps this up there will be some Instant Karma dished out by an opposing player.
If he keeps it up it won't necessarily will be karma... it might be a cold plate served on a tray.
I have no respect for Suh as a person. He is not an athlete.
I'd like to see this guy handed a season ban for his next infingement and it should start asap. He's done it several times before, he'll do it again and god knows who will be seriously hurt next time.
He has said many times it will not stop him from playing the way he does. Whether it be fines and/or suspension.
I just heard on ESPN1000 that the league is going to fine Suh $100K. No confirmation on the web.
Seeing it now on the news searches.
Maybe our rookies can have a field day taking the piss out of him like they did the Bengals in Sunday back.
100K is a stiff fine. Maybe that will make him think about what he is doing.
Though likely not
$343,000 total fines for Suh in his career. Wise up and just throw him out of the league. He will never see that he is dirty. All he has is excuses.
They were discussing it on NFL Live a few minutes ago. The consensus of the panel was that either the Lions coaching staff will reign in Suh or Suh will suffer the revenge of the other NFL players.
Herm Edwards was pretty outspoken, basically saying that Suh tries to hurt people and will get payback pretty quickly if he does not change how he plays.
I fear if I read the bleacher report Suh will cut block ME!
No, you're not on the field. He'll just ram you with his car and drive away because he's late to feed the starving children at the orphanage.
100k Fine. Shocker.
I heard one coach, might have been Herm, or it could have been someone else, say that it will not be spoken out loud, but an OC will start to red light Suh on that play, and let his OL know what to do.
This morning 670 was saying that one player has spoken out and said that players need to tell him to stop, that the fraternity of players need to speak out to stop this from happening, and it has to happen from within to get it to stop.
I hope both happen; this dude is nothing but a cheap shot artist out to hurt people, and I hope the rest of the league tells him to stop it, and then goes out of their way to take him out.
