I'm hoping our run blocking continues to improve. Forte is incredible. If the run blocking can improve he could have even better success. I'd love to see us able to consistently convert in those short yardage & goal line situations.

Leave it to N.E. to reshuffle how a game is won in the playoffs.

I like that one quote : "Belichick sees whats needed in the playoffs in training camp."

They may not do much during the regular season ... but turn em on in the playoffs.

but it's all about the pass, haven't you been watching the last 2-3-10 years? It's only about the qb and wr, and to a lesser extent the OL.

being serious for a moment, you have to have a qb that CAN drive the field but also understands when to be safe w/the ball. You also have to have a good to great D and a solid run game and special teams. The game has, by making the rules so easy for the qb, made every other position that much more important b/c the qb position, and the wr also, has been watered down by the rules also.

    Ric ,

Belichick reinvents the rules as to what is going to win. He just RAN 6 TD's down Indys throat ... they couldnt do anything about it.

What do you think the Denver braintrust is doing when Brady comes out and starts passing ?

    Stopping the run ?

The Broncos don't have the strongest D. They have to rely on Manning to score more than Brady. I don't see that happening, but it is sure possible. Brady supposedly has a shoulder problem.

Time to give our number 2 back (whether that be Bush or otherwise) more game time next year as well. Forte takes a beating that I think at times is unnecessary. The OL had to get it's pass blocking sorted first but now run blocking improvement is key.

I'd like to see the team take a shot at a mid to late round RB and see what comes of it. Forte needs to be given breathers to keep his health up, he's just as important to the team winning as Cutler is, he forces teams to be honest, and in many ways it still seems D's are more interested in shutting him down then the passing game itself.

What pisses me is we never used Bush until the season was over.

When we finally used Bush and let him get warmed up he scored TD's.

we don't need a multi million backup rb that barely gets used; you can get a mid round rookie to do what Bush did for FAR less money/cap hit, Bush has no value on the team.

Except Bush already got most of his money, and will be around for at least another year.

no he's a cap casualty this year, His cap hit will be about 4million for a backup rb, a job literally that can be done by any number of late round rookies/udfa's; especially w/how little he's used.
    2014 Cap 3.85 mil
    2015 Cap 4.6 mil

That being said any late rounders or UDFA's wont be used either ... so why bother with the position ?

    Get a FB in June.

You bother b/c you need bodies JJ, capable bodies, but you don't spend millions of cap on them.
