I am ESPN, jk but pure facts my man. Hopefully these guys will pan out like when we drafted Tommie Harris and Tank Johnson. Our D just got majorly upgraded from last season.

You're not the only one, I love it too.

EF is Paea's backup/shot across the bow. SP has been a disappointment to me and he needs to step it up and stay healthy in his contract year. Sutton was great value in the 3rd IMO after missing barely in Donald in 1. The DL has been rebuilt now with fresh bodies where we were old and hurt and decimated just a few months ago.

I was a little shell shocked about Rams taking AD unexpectedly so I'm hesitant on Fuller. But Polian, mayock, and Bowen loved him as the #1-#2 best CB in this draft and those are three guys who's opinion I have respect for (Kiper, not so much).

I'm good with Carey and Vereen in 4. Both should make the team and contribute/compete. Still have 3 late round picks left to fill out some depth at TE, LB and whatever else.

Before the season started and before Sutton put on all the weight he was the DT everyone was talking about and not Donald. Donald Did what everyone thought Sutton would do. The weight gain is credited with the reason why. If he returns to form with the weight loss we potentially have the steal of the draft right now.

I really respect Bowen's opinions. The dude knows the game and is pretty fair with his assessments, unbiased. I love reading his articles.

BS exactly, the idea that Donald was somehow the clear cut best 3 tech DT coming into the season is just completely false, he wasn't even looked at as a first round pick until the Senior bowl, it was Sutton that was coveted; if not for bad advise he's likely the first off the board and Donald is a Bear and we are bemoaning the fact that we got the consolation prize of Donald.

Sutton is a straight up Stud when he's at the correct playing weight.

I definitely wanted Donald and I doubt Phil would have passed on him if he made it one more pick. But, you're right Sutton is a damn good 3T at the right weight (and ASU screwed up by fattening him up). He was a dominant 3 the season before last who's production was as good or better than Donald's that year. I was surprised we didn't take him at 51 and am really glad we got him in the 3rd.

Raise your hand if you have heard of each and every player that has been drafted.

Yup, I've seen all the names we drafted connected to us on this board at one time or another. That's gotta be the first? I was just talking to my friend about that, this is the first draft where every single person we've drafted is someone I've actively researched and watched highlights on. Well, except for Fales, didn't see that one coming. Expected QB, just not him. I guess Emery can't have us gettin 100% correct.

You said you wanted someone with experience at multiple positions...that's fuller...he played corner, linebacker, and a little safety. He will do lots of things for us.

Conte ran a 4.5, which is a tenth and half faster than the people you're clamoring for us to draft(who we'll probably be able to get in free agency).

As for someone being able to be over the top on Johnson, and jumping ability...you mean like this?

can I just say I'm a bit worried about Det's weapons? Something tells me they don't plan on using Ebron as a true TE, but more of a out WR like Graham, that means CJ and Ebron as Rec' threats, as well as Bush and then they still have a few okay TE's.

Definitely an explosive offense, I think Golden Tate helps them a lot as a sure-handed WR who can capitalize on Megatron demanding so much coverage. He's like Earl only better. *sigh*

That's why I would have liked another corner in this draft, but if our line could get better pressure that would help too.

Any chance the Titans will cut Jake Locker in the near future? This is a guy I could see backing up Jay.

    My biggest surprise:

We haven't drafted a project TE

Not yet. I'm still hoping to select Colt Lyerla with our final pick.

I like the trade up for Vereen even more now. Landed Fales with one which allowed us to grab O'Donnel with our original. Plus we still have one pick left. I could see TE here but then again I wouldn't be surprised at any position.

I think the only reason they grabbed Fales is b/c Exum was drafted right before the Bears, who were reported were interested in him; he would have fit the mold as a potential CB to S tranny

That's a bummer, definitely was expecting a CB turn S so that would make sense.

    There goes Boyd.
