And it's this want/expectation that will send Emery flying straight for Derek Carr at 14.

Emery loves to be the smartest guy in the room, if everyone says top talent D, he's going O, I guar-on-tee

I want a future Brian Urlacher 2.0 or Dan Hampton 2.0 or Mike Brown 2.0 (without the injury issues, though). :D

That's also the wisest way to go. There's no need to reach for a player just because we were supposed to take that position in one round.

I'd cry. I know it's a rich draft offensively but we're a defensively poor team and we need to fix that.

What if magically Sammy Watkins falls to us at 14?

I'd rather have Mike Evans than Watkins to be honest with you.

Just saying, you can't give a definite no to an offensive player because we need defense, because you never know if a so called can't miss offensive stud will fall to you

I was talking Carr, I'm not sure what I'd do. I'd be very tempted to pull the trigger on Watkins but if he's there at 14 I feel like we could take another team to the cleaners who wants to trade up to draft him.

Um Watkins is top 5 talent if he fell I would take him or make somebody pay like they are moving up to 5.

I pray it's D in the first. There are a few prospects I like there, but I have been watching a lot of tape of Barr, and he just jumps off the page. I'm not sure how he would fit our scheme exactly, but he is exciting to watch. Would be happy with Dix or Donald as well.

I'm out! I want a bust or an average guy :p

Seriously I don't care if they go D or O in the first, but personally i'd like to see no safeties drafted before the Bears pick ;)

We'll see how the first 13 picks go and then we'll know. Up until 10 minutes ago, I wasn't too nervous as there should be some of Emery's guys at #14. I'd really be fine with most that people have mentioned as options.

Then for some strange reason, I started thinking, 'would Emery pick Jernigan??'. If so, I would not like the pick at all. I'm starting to get nervous he could be an option.
