Tillman, Paea questionable. Paea's turf toe is really bad news.

Paea's injury (turf toe) is a really bad one for a DL, in particular, to have. It's a sprain of the ligaments of the big toe which limits using the toe to push off of - exactly what a DL has to do to have any power at all. Think of it as a 300 pound DL having to be explosive off that toe to get past another 300+ pound OL.

He may not be able to play anyway. But if he does, it doesn't took good for his performance capability for the next several weeks. Medically, the best way for the strained ligaments to heal, is to rest the joint for 3 to 4 weeks. But it's an injury that can linger far beyond that.

It just doesn't look good at all for our DL this year.

That's not good at all, I hope the rest of the D-line can stay healthy at least until the bye week where everybody can get a rest.

Hopefully they will be able to play otherwise Brees will have an even better day than I thought.

F'n Balls. TIllman and Paea is actually bad news the Bears have no one that can cover Graham (no one can) and now they have no one to cover Colston and now the only guy on the DL that has been playing at a high level game in game out is now hurt; crickey now they don't have anyone realiable to stop Sproles up the middle.

oh yeah, it is just beautiful. Even less DL push (if that's possible) and then then relief valve in the back of the field is also now gone. If Brees gets his throws off (now almost assured), we always had Tillman back there to try and stop some from getting completed and maybe even intercepting them. Without him and the AWOL DL, the Saints could see some record numbers.

The coaches have to really come up with some creative solutions. I hope that Trestman also has a defensive cap he can put on because I don't trust Tucker with coming up with a defensive strategy to get us out of this. Not really sure it can be done anyway.

The coaches have to ball control on O, run the ball, short quick passes, don't run OoB's and control the clock, 18+ min's of Pos each half, minimal.

I agree. Long and sustained drives that eat up the clock. Keep Brees off the field as long as we can. No turnovers. Man, I mean ZERO turnovers. We need a near perfect game from Jay. When he's "on" he's amazing. If ever we needed a "Good Jay" game - this is it.

I agree with the exception that if no one gets open Jay needs to throw the ball away instead of holding it too long and then forcing it into double coverage. Better to stop the clock in that situation than to throw a pick.

Good thing I didn't start the Bears Defense in my FF League (the non-DaBears one I have.)

As much I like the new Bears offense, that is what the Bears need to do.. Control the clock and either score a touchdown or field goal. I think this is the last season that the Bears will use cover 2 defense. Why I say it cause I don't think half of the players will be back next season.
