he was injury prone...and remember the Cards game,he played like a 3rd string collage QB,than Da Bears starting QB..but people forget that hind sight is 20/20 so they say

People also forget that HE won at least one of those playoff games in 06 basically by the strength of his arm.

Grossman was the MVP in 2006 through week 6. Then he popped up big in the playoffs, before reverting again in the Super Bowl. Was he THE reason the Bears made it that far? No, but he was one of the biggest reasons. No Grossman=no Super Bowl for the 2006 team

ricza, but you gotta admit, we DID have an fun and EXPLOSIVE offense for those 5-6 games to start off 2006 before Rexy imploded!!! It was a lot of fun to see a Bears offense capable of pointing points on the board, even if it was for only half a season!!!!

There was a point were I truly believed we had our franchise QB. Then, it was the cruel reality that he wasn't very good.

Benj, Brad, ya he did pop a few in the playoffs and 6 games, but that doesn't make him a TOP 5 of all time QB for the Bears. 1 1/2 a season and a few playoff games isn't enough...escpecially when he wet the bed in the SB and literally cost the Bears that game.

ARE there 5 top QBs in Bears history? Not exactly a position of strength traditionally for this franchise. Other teams seem to have a really good/great one once a decade or so and we are struggling to name 5 in 90 years...
