I keep reminding myself that this is a guy who gave a lot of good play to the Bears over several years, and I enjoyed watching him play. So, I'm trying not to make too much of this, or when he said he didn't care about us fans.

Folks are 100% right, that every team probably does this, so Urlacher's only fault was to mindlessly open his yap about it. I'm sure he could throw out a bunch of embarrassing "dirty laundry" about the Chicago Bears, but I hope he stops with the "diarrhea of the mouth" thing. Frankly, I don't think he's a good fit for being a sports media guy. He doesn't come across as the sharpest knife in the drawer when he speaks. I'm not saying he's dumb, but that he comes across that way.

and yes all teams do do this

So why is he trying to bring something to light that's already a no brainer and a given across the board ,.. I v'e seen it too many times Daaaaaa

    We all have

Just like stealing signals or trying to do such ,... they all do it

Who's looking for the spotlight now ??

Good job Brian. Way to throw your pal Lovie into a bad light. I'm sure that will help him if he gets back into coaching.

Urlacher is now doing the 2 step. Now Urlacher is saying Lovie had no clue they were doing the dive. So now he's proving to everyone Lovie was clueless to what was going on with his own team. Keep it coming Brian you're helping your beloved coach from ever coaching in the NFL. What a moron and I was huge Urlacher fan. The season just started what else is he going to say?

Let me get this straight. They had a designated play for this. They had a designated player. They had a specific set of sideline signals to get the play into the defense.

But you're telling me that, Lovie, the head coach, was 100% clueless that all of this was going on with his team?

Actually, I can believe that :-)

It's probably best to ignore him this season. One can only imagine with his lovely attitude, what he will say after any Bears loss.

The "sign" for a defensive guy to take a dive, was signalled in from the coaches with a "diving motion" .....

It actually all makes sense now. This goes back to Jerry Angelo blowing a 3rd round draft pick on DL Jarron Gilbert......the ole "pool jumper" who couldn't play football worth crap. We (fans) thought it was madness to waste a 3rd round pick on the swimming guy. But it was a stroke of genius by Angelo.

Who better to do "The Dive" than a swimmer?

This is why I like Urlacher, He has always said what he believes. He did just say the Bears do it. He said every team does. So I am still going to keep wearing my Urlacher 54 jersey. I have 2 of them.
