He wants Florida to pick up his legal tab... what part are you unable to comprehend?
Let me know if I used words you don't understand... I'll try and clarify (that means, I'll say it in another way so that even you can understand).
So tempted to make a horrible joke here, but i figure im already close to going to hell as is, dont want to tempt fate.
Well...they could always just take it out of Trayvon's College Fund, since he won't be needing it anymore. Oh wait...who we kidding?
*drops mic and quickly exits the building*
If they don't grant this, it's obviously racism against hispanic americans....
What's the issue?
As far as I'm concerned, the LOSING side should ALWAYS have to pay for the legal costs of those that won.
It would certainly prevent over-zealous prosecutors from bringing charges they can't prove or have no chance of winning.
Wasn't that obvious from the arrest?
Tell me this shit isn't BS!!
Well for starters, its standard procedure in FL (and many other states) that state someone acquitted is not responsible for court fees. So that, in and of itself is not the issue.
Attorney's fees are different, and NOT covered, because doing so would basically create a system where DA's would only go after poor offenders, instead of risking trial and losing against wealthy offenders, since they would be responsible for paying much more in attorney's fees.
But, as the article states, attorney's fees are not part of the claim, so its really nothing to get bent out of shape over, since court fees and costs are not the responsibility of someone acquitted.
Come to the dark side... Whhooo paaaahhhh, whoooo pahhhhhh.
NO but it's America at finest,...... WELCOME ! ! !
