My dad watched the game with me today, and when he saw Cutler, he asked surprised that he was still with the team. Some people are surprised that Webb Nation is still on the team too. The Cutler hoax may be in its final chapter in Chicago. What a failure. He could only beat bad teams. Next year's QB class is good. We can pick up a good one even if he passes out of the first. Russell Wilson, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, and Colin Kaepernick were not picked in the first round and all were NFL starters.

Your dad seems like quite the scout. Why doesn't he have a job in the NFL?

He only watches sometimes. What he shows is that on first glance and without making excuses about the O line, WRs, etc., he is just a bad QB. We overanalyze and make all sorts of excuses for Cutler. The bottom line is that he is no Erin (sic) Rodgers.

That makes it all the more impressive. That he can come to such a franchise changing decision based on only sometimes! Pure Genius!!! Fire Phil, hire CCB's father!

Look, Cutler has his issues. What QB doesn't? Shit, Favre couldn't get through a game without throwing at least 3 INTs. Cutler is still better than anything we will get in the draft next year. He will be on the team at least through next year.

BTW, in Chicago, he has not had a competent OC, and rarely an offense threat to help him. Very hard to impress when you are being led by someone who is not fit for the job he has, and no one to really help you.

Make more excuses. Keep them coming. Blame everyone except Cutler.

LOL blame everyone but Cutler? You obviously do not know me to well. I am one of his harshest critics. I have bashed him time and time again for his failure to beat the packers. I am not a Cutler apologist by any means.

If we still had the old board, I would show you such posts. I also say that great QBs can turn a bad WR into a good one.

Cutler is not a great QB. But he is talented. But you need the ingredients to actually make something work

We have invested enough time and money into him. We know him well. It is time to move on.

This really isn't even worth your time Benj. Logic is not an element in the conversation of the other side.

Cutler is one of the 43 players with expiring contracts this season, so like every one of those players, he will be fighting for his job. Its premature to say "time to move on" until the end of the season, at which point we will know if he has played up to a contract extension or not.

Beyond the obvious troll attempt, I think the bears take a qb next draft regardless if they keep Cutler or not, regardless if he is their long term answer or not. The team needs a legit backup, and McCown is definately not that, and chances are neither is blanchard. The team should have a guy they feel is capable of taking over and winning should something happen to Cutty short or long term.

Players always play well in their contract year and then close shop after they get a contract: Moose Droppings, Shaun Alexander, Larry Johnson.

    Here are Erin's accomplishments:

    Here are Cutler's accomplishments:

    Which guy is the keeper?

I think you guys are defending Cutler just because he is on our team.

You are not exactly discovering new ground there man. Aaron Rodgers is vastly better than Cutler. You will not get any arguments there. If you standard is comparing QBs to Rodgers, you will be looking for a new QB every damn year. Stop setting your standards so high

Lovie came in with the goal to beat the Packers. We should have the same goal. We need to look for the next Luck, Wilson, or Kaepernick. If we do not, JC will continue to get embarrassed in Green Bay.

My Momma? She doesn't play QB, and is well out of the age range of a college athlete.

Have her bend over so Gould can kick her into back to college ball.
