Cutler is one of the 43 players with expiring contracts this season, so like every one of those players, he will be fighting for his job. Its premature to say "time to move on" until the end of the season, at which point we will know if he has played up to a contract extension or not.

Beyond the obvious troll attempt, I think the bears take a qb next draft regardless if they keep Cutler or not, regardless if he is their long term answer or not. The team needs a legit backup, and McCown is definately not that, and chances are neither is blanchard. The team should have a guy they feel is capable of taking over and winning should something happen to Cutty short or long term.

Players always play well in their contract year and then close shop after they get a contract: Moose Droppings, Shaun Alexander, Larry Johnson.

    Here are Erin's accomplishments:

    Here are Cutler's accomplishments:

    Which guy is the keeper?

I think you guys are defending Cutler just because he is on our team.

You are not exactly discovering new ground there man. Aaron Rodgers is vastly better than Cutler. You will not get any arguments there. If you standard is comparing QBs to Rodgers, you will be looking for a new QB every damn year. Stop setting your standards so high

Lovie came in with the goal to beat the Packers. We should have the same goal. We need to look for the next Luck, Wilson, or Kaepernick. If we do not, JC will continue to get embarrassed in Green Bay.

My Momma? She doesn't play QB, and is well out of the age range of a college athlete.

Have her bend over so Gould can kick her into back to college ball.
