If he can't be traded he'll be the swing this year. Couldn't be LT, couldn't hack RT, now demoted to swing perhaps. Yet like apologist parents should STILL be here in year FIVE.

Oh denial, what a powerful river you are.

Well with his pay cut as of today he's officially a second string OT and probably at the top of the list for the swing OT spot. Scott still hasn't returned to practice and even if he does soon I would hope it isn't for any other reason than to light some sort of fire under Webb that will allow him to keep what little he has left of his job with the Bears.

You can't trade him because you couldn't even get a deflated football for him so we might just as well keep him around as a backup to Bushrod we hope never to have to use. If Britten can show he's got some ability to play RT well then he can compete with Mills there but right now Mills has the inside track as the starter. I just want to find some way to not have Scott in a Bears uniform.

We already have him at a reduced rate, so i would say keep him. There is no depth on the oline, somthere aren't alot of players waiting in the wings.

Webb is a placeholder until Scott returns... if Scott takes longer or is done, they'll keep him

Right now no one else can even play, badly, LT and RT, so you have to keep him in hopes that the pay cut lights a fire under his arse.

    The PERFECT SOLUTION,....

if the Bears do keep Webb and Webb does get into the game,..... the Braintrust should desn plays to hand the ball off to him / pass the ball to him instead of letting Cutty/ Forte ,.. whoever else take the hit. Better him to get punished, he's a big boy

Too many injuries happen during a season.

I hope we do not need to use him at all, and if someone better becomes available because of cuts, then we can jettison his lazy ask.

It really is a shame, he has all the ability, he has been given the opportunity and he seems to not give a rats *ss.
