We learned that Trestman likes to pass early and often.
We learned that, through 5 games, he doesn't makes very good offensive adjustments early in games.
Jay likes throwing the ball a lot, and since last week, he's been going back to his habit of overlooking the dumpoff pass. We need Jay to make those passes a lot more, because, in at least one red zone situation today, he overlooked his chance to get us close to the end zone.
We need the passing game adjusted well before halftime. We also need to find WR's when the opposing defense hasn't gone into "prevent".

OUR defense isn't as good as previous years, and as such, won't be able to hold opposing offenses all game. They just don't have it, it appears. So, unless Trestman can start adjusting his gameplan earlier, the defense is gonna be gassed early and often, against explosive offenses. There's no reason to panic on the season yet, but right now, this team is not elite, and the coaching isn't as efficient as it needs to be, to overcome many of the flaws in talent.
