Nope, but that's also part of the new CBA policy on concussions, the team isn't allowed contact w/him until he's cleared by the dr's...or something like that, but Trestman has been in contact w/him everyday so i'm not exactly sure how it works, maybe he's just not allowed at the facilities.

last I heard, Earl Bennett has been MIA since getting a concussion. No one has seen or heard from him since.

That's my point, Ric. He's been out a long time since the concussion and still hasn't been cleared per protocol to return to practice. I don't want to push the panic button yet, but I'm a little worried there's more going on than meets the eye. Like maybe.....he's not coming back at all. I hope thats not the case.

MP, ya it's scarry, but it might also be that he doesn't need the practice and they want him 100% for week 1. If he's not back wk1, and he hasn't put on pup then I'll worry.

EB has definitely had some hard luck on injuries. Concussions are a freak thing--some guys get them more easily than others. And the chest hit by New Orleans was brutal. Anyone would have been out for weeks after that. I really really hope he gets back to 100% by week 1 and can stay healthy this season. We need him in the slot.

As much as I like Joe Anderson, he's still a year or so away from being ready to assume a major role.

We did make it to camp. It was a polar-opposite camp from what Lovie had. Players were hustling and coaches were really engaged - they were "teaching" rather than loping along taking it easy. Trestman had everyone running like their underwear was on fire.

I liked what I saw a lot. It will undoubtedly take the new offense some time to click. But I feel like the team is ultimately headed in a better direction. Long sure looks better than I expected. I figure he is the cornerstone piece for whatever our offensive line ends up being in a year or two. The OL is a work in progress and won't see its full potential this season. It's going to take another year IMHO. It should be better this year, but another season should see it become even better.

One "no name" guy I really like is undrafted rookie WR Terrence Toliver, the 6'5" WR from LSU. He won't make the team. He's a project, and there's way too much competition at WR to keep a green project guy like this. But somebody with patience to spend on a guy like this will end up with a solid WR weapon in a year or two. Maybe they'd keep him on the practice squad.

    Thanks!

I heard someone talk about Long on the line and if he'll be moved to tackle, then they mentioned it should be interesting to see him and Suh go at it....and I thought to myself, I said self...Suh is why Long is going to play G for the forseeable future.

Ya I saw Tollivers size and about choked. The kid had some nice grabs in PS wk 1 also.

If Bennett stays down for any time I see the team going w/Anderson and Wilson and Weems(shrug)
