After two preseason games I'm sure were all forming some opinions about the team as a whole. My purpose here is to give members a chance to give a shout out to those specific players who have done better expected. Name a player on offense, a player on defense, and a player on STeams (if you can find one.) :4 2 204v[1]:

    Offense: Shaun Draughn

He's fast, he's a very smooth runner with nice changes of direction in stride, he can catch and he can block. I'd like to see them try him as a KOR.

    Defense: Kyle Fuller

I has to be him. He's just better than I had a right to expect. He doesn't play like a rookie.

    STeams: Robbie Gould

By default. The rest have screwed up so badly at times it's hard to single anyone out.

Those three have been impressive; however, the fact that Fuller didn't play against the Jags due to injury prevents me from selecting him as I haven't seen enough of him yet. I look forward to though.

Defense: Trevor Scott / Sherrick McManis
Special Teams: Trevor Scott / Sherrick McManis
    Offense: Josh Morgan

Trevor Scott and Shaun Draughn. Did not see their good performance coming.

This and Greene, he seems like the only young lb to really make a strong jump forward.

Hey, you stole those from me. From my brain even before I had formulated them. ... errr, I agree. McManis has look really sweet on defense. I don't know how Harper has looked in practice but in games McManis as an outside CB has looked better than Harper as a nickle back. They may not be fighting for the same roster spots though as the Bears need some CB as a backup nickle back. I haven't rewatched to see if anybody besides Harper has gotten a good look there and if they did well.

I have been very surprised by Jeremiah Ratliff now that he's 100% healthy. The guy is a monster. A beast. I absolutely LOVE watching him play. If this guy can STAY healthy then we have something special.

He's a big old mean DT whose been sidelined for the better part of two years and I think he's gonna play like he something to prove. It's gonna be tough getting him and Allen off the field.

There's some nice picks here. McManis had looked good and of course so has Scott.

Scott and Miller, but Miller is now out.
I wanted to see more out of Shea, but happy any progress is being made. Fuller is obviously a leading candidate. I was hoping he would be ok, but looks like he is going to be better than ok. I would not have picked him, but I'm glad we did.
