Instead of guessing what Phil will pull out of his hat today, let's do a thread on who we want. We currently have 4 picks, so I want Pierre Desir, Max Bullough, Isaiah Lewis and De'Anthony Thomas.

Desir might not make down to our spot, if not my honorable mention would be McGill.

I want the two MSU guys because I think they could help in the future at a position of need and man that defense was nasty this year, 2 of their captains might help bring that attitude back to our defense (and the special teams immediately)

Would love Thomas just for kick and punt returns, but would be intrigued what Trestman would do with him as well (line up at rb or in the slot)

Seems like we would all be happy with McGill

Should we pull the plug on Colt from Oregon? Makes me a bit nervous but if it worked out, would be a huge steal. I don't know; feels like too much risk....

Telvin Smith, Keith McGill, Max Bullough/Isaiah Lewis (Go Green), Pierre Desir, Storm Johnson, Dion Bailey, and Craig Loston are all guys I wouldn't mind seeing in a Bears uniform. I think Telvin Smith and Pierre Desir are my favorites but I also think RB is a pretty significant need. Only a couple more hours till we find out who goes where.

Savage is still there, I feel like I remember quite a few mocks having him go to us around here? Thoughts?

Why's he dropped so far? I've got shit slow internet so it's annoying as hell to do extensive research. I saw an article mention if he'd been at the same school for his career he'd be in the top half of the first round. Is that his only knock?

Seems to have some issues with consistency, a bit of preferred receiver tunnel vision and a couple of other things. All very coach-able issues.

Had a concussion last year. Maybe a medical component contributing to his still being available.

Might be a great value pick in the 4th or the 5th (if he lasts that long).

Players I like that are still available are:

RBs Carey, Seastrunk, Bibbs, Grice, Thomas
CBs Huff, Exum, McGill, Breeland, Roberson, Desir, E.J. Gaines, Purifoy, Aikens
SS/FS Vereen, Loston,Reynolds, Dixon, Bailey, Lewis
LBs Bullough, Hubbard, C. Jones, T. Smith, C. Bradford, Barrow, Tripp
    TEs Duncan, Lyeria,
WRs Ellington, M. Bryant, J. Janis, Abbrederis

I know that's a lot of players but by liking more players there's less of a chance a pick will piss me off!

Savage started out being projected as a 4-5 rd guy but recently had a huge jump up the rankings, which probably caused teams to take a much more in depth look at him which in turn showed more of his weaknesses. Personally, I like the kid. Get arm, good size but not the most mobile guy. More of a pocket QB.

Did you put those in order of how you liked them? If so, you should be very happy then.

If we were to get Bullough and Duncan I think BearJim might faint.
