I don't know how big of a poll to make it, so it's just an open question. I'd have to say Warren Moon. If that dude would've been playing QB in the NFL his entire career, he would've had more passing yards than Favre by a LOT.

not sure how Moon qualifies as under-rated.........along with Bud Grant, he's one of only two men in both NFL & CFL HOF.

I think for under-rated, I've gotta base that on the question "who is the best QB that's not in the HOF".

I'm going with Daryle Lamonica, who doesn't have rings like Stabler or Plunkett but the stats, history and won-lost record confirm he was better than either of them.
    Lamonica 66-16 lifetime record.
Joe Theismann is up there for me too.

No, I meant it as "most underrated". When you mention "the greats" you get: Elway, Marino, Manning, Aikman, Brady, Montana, and not much after that. Yeah, Warren Moon's in the HOF, but he really doesn't get the respect he deserves.

I don't know where the hell you get your stats from, but she's never had a QBR over 0.

superbowl winning qbs usually get more respect.
I mean, after Marino, of all the guys that have never won one, I would say Moon gets as much respect as any.
Marino, Moon, Fouts.......pretty sure those are the only 3 HOF qbs without a SB ring.

Not publicly. They're never mentioned on the "greatest" lists.

I nominate Steve Young. He had the whole package. His only problem was that he was in the wrong places at the wrong time -- 4 years on bench behind Montana and more wasted years in Tampa Bay.

You beat me to it. Buffalo would have had a SB if they let him play. That would have been a great ending to a great career. He had won where ever he went and then the great brain trust of the bills lost it. The bills deserve to be a shitty team forever.

The guy was a winner, size means nothing when your will to win is off the charts.

i think a lot of people forget just how good Jim Kelly was, he's forgotten behind the greats like Montanna, Marino, Young and ol Horseface himself, but Kelly was damn good.
