Hello Everyone! New member here. I was surfing the web for Bears talk after our game today & found this Site which seemed pretty awesome.
My name is Carl, I'm 24 years old. I have been a die hard Bears fan since moment of birth. My father was born in Chicago, however his family (Parents & sister) moved to northern California when he was young. I was born in 1988 in Sacramento, California. Spent all my life here. I have been to Chicago, Rock Island, & Moline many times to visit family & for vacation. I have been to two Bears games, 1 in San Francisco 4 yrs ago when we played the 49ers in Pre-season, & October 4th, 2009 at Soldier Field when we destroyed the Lions (this was the infamous game where the Lions WR caught the ball in the end-zone but it popped out of his hand at the last second, resulting in an incomplete pass).
Currently, my family (Parents, Sister, & Myself) are in the process of moving to Illinois, just outside Downtown Chicago possibly in McHenry County. We recently visited for 2 weeks looking at real estate & may be moving within the next 2-4 months.
I am a college student & work part-time. My father & I also have a small business which we repair, restore, buy & sell Lionel, Marx, & American Flyer model trains.
As my Username says, "Bear ina Chair"...I am a Paraplegic & use a manual wheelchair. I used to race Motocross & play football beginning at age 4. When I was 12 years old, I was in a bad accident during a MX race where I broke 6 Vertebra in my back & it left me permanently paralyzed from my waist-down. Don't feel sorry or sad at all, I have a great life & being in a wheelchair really ain't that bad! Front parking & priority Plane seating are pretty awesome perks :) I'm in school to hopefully become a Counselor/Therapist for other people who have been in traumatic events/accidents or suffered traumatic injury. I am extremely open & nearly impossible to offend, so please if anyone had any questions don't be afraid to ask.
Anyways, looking forward to discussing the Bears with fellow Fans!

Im a new member so I wanted to thanks for having me. I'm not a Bears fan as you could prolly tell by my name. I'm from Va and am a die hard fan for our home team Redskins! Even though I do root for the Bears when their winning doesn't hurt my Skins.
The Reason I joined is I have a friend who is a die hard Bears fan. He grew up in Iowa in the 50's and 60's and has followed the team ever since. He has worked for a IL. bases company that moved him to VA 10 years ago. When I have extra tickets to the Redskins home games he will take along sometime. This week though since the Bears are playing "somewhat" close to us in Nashville we are gonna come and cheer your bears on. Im a big tailgater cause thats half the fun. So we'd like to meet up with some bears fans that are tailgating in Nashville.
Do yall set up a meeting and tailgating spot prior at away games? If so do you mind if we tag along. we will me bring a blue canopy, grill, table, chairs, The whole 9 yards. Now just looking for friendly bear faces in Titan town. Let me know please.
